I’m tired of prison -Al-Mustapha

Almost 12 years into his incarceration, Major Hamza  Al  -Mustapha,   from the Kiri Kiri Maximum Prison,  Apapa, Lagos,  has cried out that he is tired of  staying in prison, expressing his desire to be free.
The embattled military tactician  believes that if the  relevant authorities tempered justice with mercy and set him free  unconditionally, he would be more useful to his family and Nigeria.

He spoke through his  Counsel, Mr. Olalekan Ojo, highlighting that prison  was a terrible place and he did not know any person who would  prefer to be kept in prison for long without seeing his  family.
Accordingly, he said, “freedom is a priceless thing. I believe Nelson Mandela never cherished   being kept behind bars, he looked forward to his release. It  cannot be correct to say that Al-Mustapha loves to stay in prison,”he said.
Mustapha, however, opined that it was not in doubt that he has  enemies who wanted him dead while in prison because of his perceived popularity, stating that” some politicians who believed that my release may signal the death of their own political leadership and relevance in the country may not want me to come out of the prison.
