Regarding Black Urbanism, Part II (Cont'd.)

In my most recent piece I tried to insert a graphic that illustrates the intersection of New Urbanism, community development and "flow", but I just couldn't get it the way I wanted.  Here's a compromised version of it:


There are many shared attributes.  The interconnected areas could include the following:

New Urbanism/Community Development: Traditional neighborhood structure; quality of life

Community Development/"Flow" Theory: Building on assets; community linkages; external networks; human development

New Urbanism/"Flow" Theory: Connectivity; sustainability; community authenticity; cultural tolerance

At the center is a new model for community building and revitalization.

It's all so easy.
